One of Typh's pieces ( http://www.typh22.wordpress.com )

King David of the Old Testament Bible was a man after God’s own heart. He walked before Him with a loyal heart and a faithful heart and stood by Him in all truth. He was a musician and a writer. In fact he wrote the Psalms of the Old Testament. But Kind David had his flaws. He was an imperfect King. And as he was, so am I. I am a woman after God’s own heart. I have walked before Him faithfully, and with a loyal heart that I can only hope He would be pleased with. I am a musician and a writer. But I am as imperfect as they come. I am flawed in many ways. But one thing King David was known for was his Psalms of Praise to a Mighty God…his King. David seemed to know how to lift himself back up through his words. He learned to encourage himself. Whether he was rejoicing, fearful, doubtful, sad, or grieved….he wrote it down, made into songs or Psalms. In the same way….I find joy in writing. I have learned to encourage myself through simple letters on a piece of paper or words on a screen. My feelings or emotions given to God in a deep place of my heart. So here I write. Just as David’s words were an inspiration to many, and uplifting in so many ways. I can only pray that the words that I write will be as uplifting, and encouraging to others in their times of need and struggles. And not just the tough times but also the rejoicing times. If I can only be joyful with you and myself as we can give praise in those times of rejoicing. I hope that these words will lift you up, give you confidence, and also make your mind think a little when what is said is being a little thought provoking and maybe even convicting. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I love writing and sharing my thoughts on life, love, and GOD!!
God Bless all those who read.
